Off-Market Property Listings Feature: Everything You Need to Know

Off-Market listings let you promote select properties with maximum discretion — ideal for high-value instructions, private sales, or vendors who simply don’t want to go public (yet).

These listings appear on your website in a masked teaser format, giving you a professional way to showcase interest-worthy properties while keeping key details private. 

Off-Market listings are generally not pushed to portals and are designed to help you market directly to VIP buyers, your database of contacts, email subscribers, or via personal outreach.

What Does an Off-Market Listing Look Like?

When a listing is marked as Off-Market:

• An ”Off-Market” status is applied to the listing
  
  

• We automatically blur the main image (and the rest are removed completely)
  
  

• We hide the full address (only the town is shown)
  
  

• We remove access to brochures, EPC’s, floorplans, and video tours
  
  

• And instead of a “book viewing” CTA, it’s “register your interest” instead
  
  

• Because of all the above, we have a different design for the ‘property detail’ page which suits better because of the reduced content available
  
  

This creates a teaser-style approach that encourages enquiries while maintaining privacy for your vendor.

How to Set It Up

        Here’s how you can set up and use the Off-Market Launch feature:

1. Ensure you're on the top-tier of subscription
   This feature comes at no extra cost within our top-tier subscription!

2. Using Street CRM?
   Use the “Tag” field in Street CRM
   Navigate to your Street CRM dashboard and select the property you’d like to update.
   

On the screen that enables you to enter your description text, price etc, you should see a field labelled - “Tags” - and here, you just need to enter the tag - “off-market”. See screenshot below from Street CRM. 

Not using Street CRM? No worries! Take advantage of our Property Tagging feature to highlight ‘off-market’ listings
The flexibility of the Property Tagging feature enables us to tag properties however we want so in essence, we just need to ensure we have the tag / keyword - “off-market” - applied to your account and then as long as you mention that phrase within the property summary or description text (preferably near the start), then the listing(s) will be tagged automatically. 

Once this is done, your listing will appear on your website in its masked, off-market format. You can now share the link directly with potential buyers.

FAQ

❓ Can I switch an Off-Market listing back to public?
Yes — just remove the “off-market” tag from the property in Street CRM or if you're not using Street CRM, just remove any mention of “off-market” from the summary and main description fields and the full listing with all its particulars will appear on your website and portals as usual the next time the feed processes.

❓ Will the listing appear on Rightmove, Zoopla, etc.?
No — Off-Market Listings are strictly limited to your website and are not pushed to any portals. Do bear in mind of course, that this part would need to be handled by your CRM as we don’t upload anything to portals anyway. 

❓ Can I change the blurred image or display text?
At the moment, no — the teaser format is standardised, but we may offer more customisation in future.

❓ Is this feature included in my plan?
If you're on our top-tier subscription, it's included at no extra cost.
