Yay! Your brand new website is now LIVE!! 

 

Whilst we’re going through our own internal testing / review, we’d ask it if you could give it a thorough test / check just to ensure your happy with everything and be sure to test all contact forms too.

A few things to bear in mind going forward:

 

Testing / Signoff
Unless there are urgent bugs, I’d ask that you write up any issues / tweaks or amends in a Word Doc so everything is in one place and is easy-to-follow. 

 

Bear in mind, any new tasks might be subject to cost depending on the level of work required.

Post-Launch Process

As part of our standard post-launch process, we carry out a number of tests / checks on your website and this includes ensuring (if applicable) any of your previous sites page names are automatically redirected to the new pages in the site (and if not possible, then redirected to the home page) to avoid the user coming across an “error 404” (or “page can’t be found” error).

This entire process usually takes anywhere between 1-3 weeks from the point of launch.

 

Support Process
With any amendments or website issues, please email - support@estateapps.co.uk - so it's logged by our ticketing system and dealt with in our standard process. 


Your CRM / Property Redirects

As part of your CRM, you can send out property particulars via email which then should link back to the website. CRM’s handle this process in multiple ways – some enable you to put the direct link to the site into the property listing itself, others don’t. 


In either case, if you send out emails from your CRM, it’s important you test this as we can do this from our side.

 

Property Feed
Just as a reminder, our feed generally processes every 2-4 hours however, some CRM’s only send us the property feed on a 24-hour cycle.

If you do have issues with particular listings etc, it’s worth bearing in mind the processing delay before contacting us.

If you do need to contact us though, be sure to provide as much information as you can (i.e. address / price / link to listing) as this will help speed up investigations on our side.


As a final point, as you’ll know from our initial project proposal, our subscription tiers include hosting for a varying number of property listings (with the top tier being up to 200 listings per month). Listings over and above this could be subject to additional hosting costs and we’ll monitor this as we move forward. 

 

Website CMS / Hub

You should already have the CMS / Hub details in order to be able to modify the contents of some of the pages / features within the website. Do let us know if you need the access details resent.

We have an extensive knowledgebase, designed to provide tips and advice on how to use certain features (like Meet the Team, Testimonials, Blogs, Area Guides etc) within our platform. In fact, your reading a segment from that knowledgebase right now!


If you need any specific help with anything, please just ask! 


Post a Review feature

Your project includes one of our most popular features, "Post a Review" so any outbound links you currently send out asking for reviews, should now be changed to this (to encompass all your review platforms).

Catchup / Review Meetings

As part of our service, we like to have a catchup with you every few months to ensure your getting the most from our website platform, ensuring your armed with tips on improving your SEO, digital marketing and whatever else it is you'd like to touch on.


The focus generally is on blogs, area guides, reviews but it can also, cover amends you'd like to make, enhancements or ideas you've thought of that we could build - the list is endless really! 


Of course, these meetings are optional but it's always recommended you take advantage of them - time-permitting of course.  


We always find a healthier relationship is built with regular communication! 


Subscription
We include a number of hours within our monthly subscription and this means we take care of any update we can squeeze into that period of time (be it simple text updates, or image changes etc). 


It is generally focused around content as new pages / features take time to plan and develop.
